Dimitris Belantis
Two WordPress sites from 2018, his practice and his personal blog, rebuilt from scratch in Node. One shared admin panel, Word document import, moderated comments.
Athens · design · code · server · live
I design your site, write the code and keep it running.
I’m Nick Pallis. I build websites and web apps in Node, AI assistants and live broadcasts, and I host them on my own server. You get one person responsible for the whole project, from the first idea to ongoing maintenance.

By the numbers
Work measured in years, not promises.
A graphic designer and photographer from the start, with the web, video and code coming along the way. Everything below is real and verifiable.

Work
Projects running today.
Open any project right here, in a desktop or phone frame, or go straight to the live site. Most sites are in Greek.
Protect Green
Residents map the trees of their neighbourhood with location, condition and a photo. A live map, a 3D walk and a review of every entry before it goes public. It started in Pagrati, Athens.
To Chelidoni Yeast
The site of Lesaffre Hellas’ fresh yeast cube: step-by-step recipes, articles and where to buy, with an admin panel for the company’s team.
FEDIMA Hellas
The association of Greek bakery and pastry ingredient companies. Text that used to be locked inside images was rewritten into pages people can read and Google can find.
Smile Dental
A new site built from scratch, with an admin panel, a photo library and digital consent forms with signatures.
Pername Oloi
The same idea for pavements: citizens photograph whatever blocks a wheelchair, a pram or a walking stick, and the map goes to the municipality. Piloted in Pagrati.
Chelidoni · Magimix · Livendo
The corporate site lesaffre.gr and three brand sites: Chelidoni, the yeast since 1895, Magimix bread improvers and Livendo sourdoughs.
School of Integrative Psychotherapy
Curriculum, faculty, archive, an online application form and an assistant that answers prospective students. Hosted and maintained on my server.
Bakery assistant · Home baking assistant
Two assistants for the yeast industry: technical support for professional bakers and a baking helper for home cooks. I demo them in a meeting.
From WordPress to Node
The same site, without the baggage.
If your WordPress site needs constant updates, breaks with every plugin and loads slowly, I rebuild it from scratch in Node: same content, same addresses for Google, your own admin panel.
Case · Dimitris Belantis, lawyer
Two WordPress sites from 2018. Years of updates, plugins that were no longer supported, a theme that could not change.
I rebuilt both, moved every article, kept the old addresses and built an admin panel that does exactly what he needs: articles, case law, podcast, videocast.
WordPress, as it was
- Weekly updates, with the fear that something will break
- Dozens of plugins, each one a door for attacks
- Slow loading, heavy themes, page builders
- Subscriptions for the theme, plugins and security
Node, as it is now
- Code written for you, with no plugins to update
- Phoenix Shield: my own hardening with alerts
- Light, fast pages on my own server
- No theme or plugin subscriptions; you only pay for hosting and support
AuditI map what your WordPress has: pages, posts, images, forms, addresses.
RebuildA new site in Node, with the same content and a clean new design.
MoveOld addresses redirect to the new ones, so Google loses nothing.
MaintainHosting, backups, security and changes, on a monthly plan or per task.

Monthly partnership
One steady partner for everything digital.
Site, server, content, video and support, with a predictable monthly cost and someone who already knows your business. We talk about what you need and I send you a proposal.
Livestreaming
Every Lesaffre Hellas live stream, 2019–2025.
Cameras, sound, live links to France and the Baking Center, the broadcast console. We ran the first webinar in 2019, before the pandemic, because I insisted it was worth it.
When everyone was locked down, the live streams became the company’s main way of talking to bakers all over Greece.
Phoenix Lab · my server
The server, with real numbers.
My clients’ sites run on a server I set up, maintain and monitor myself. The numbers here are measured automatically: every few minutes the server checks every site and its certificate.

About
Nick Pallis
I have been designing websites for 20 years and working in graphic design and photography for more than 23.
I started with photography and graphic design and followed the work wherever it led: video, websites, live broadcasts, applications. Today I take on a whole project, from the idea and production to the code, hosting and support.
I work on my own and bring in collaborators when a project needs them. My clients’ sites run on my own server, Phoenix Lab, which I maintain and harden myself. Whatever I design and write, I build to last for years.
Certified graphic designer (EKEPIS, Greece). I speak Greek, English and French.
